Alex Vidal has joined REMAX as President, marking a major leadership change for the global real estate brand. The appointment brings an industry veteran with nearly three decades of experience into a key role as REMAX begins its next chapter under Real REMAX Group.
Vidal most recently served as President of ERA Real Estate. Now, he will lead the REMAX brand and work closely with its global network of affiliates. His responsibilities include driving worldwide growth, developing services for agents and Broker/Owners, and helping shape the brand’s long-term strategy.
Alex Vidal Brings Decades of Real Estate Experience
Alex Vidal at REMAX represents the latest chapter in a career spanning 29 years. Before taking the new position, Vidal spent three years leading ERA Real Estate. He previously held sales and leadership roles at Coldwell Banker Realty and Prudential Real Estate.
Moreover, his experience extends beyond corporate leadership. Vidal has worked as a real estate agent, coach and franchising executive.
According to REMAX, he has coached more than 30,000 real estate professionals during his career. Therefore, his background gives him direct experience with many of the challenges faced by agents and brokerage leaders.
REMAX Targets Global Growth Under Vidal
Vidal will have a broad set of responsibilities as President.
He will support teams overseeing franchise services, expansion, global and commercial real estate, and REMAX Canada. In addition, his role includes improving network support and helping the company pursue growth across international markets.
REMAX currently has more than 145,000 agents in nearly 8,500 offices across more than 120 countries and territories. Consequently, Vidal will be leading a large international network as the company develops its next growth strategy.
Tamir Poleg, Chairman and CEO of Real REMAX Group, said Vidal understands the industry from the ground up. Poleg also highlighted his experience supporting agents, Broker/Owners and organizations throughout his career.
Technology Will Play a Role in REMAX’s Next Chapter
The appointment comes shortly after the transaction creating Real REMAX Group closed on August 24, 2026. The combination brings together Real’s technology-focused brokerage platform and the established REMAX franchise network.
As a result, technology is expected to play an important role in the brand’s future direction.
Vidal said the combination provides an opportunity to connect REMAX’s experience and productivity with technology designed to help agents operate more efficiently. The goal is also to give real estate professionals more time to focus on their businesses and clients.
Meanwhile, REMAX says Vidal will report directly to Poleg as he develops the brand’s strategy.
Leadership Changes Continue at Real REMAX Group
Vidal’s arrival is part of a wider series of leadership appointments following the combination.
Jenna Rozenblat has been named President of Real REMAX Group, while Amy Somerville serves as Chief Operating Officer. Other executives have also taken positions within the newly formed organization.
However, Vidal’s role is specifically focused on the REMAX brand.
His appointment places an experienced franchise executive at the center of efforts to strengthen agent services, expand the global network and develop new growth opportunities.

With Real REMAX Group now established, Vidal enters the position during an important period of organizational change. His task will be to translate that transition into growth while strengthening services for agents and franchise owners around the world.
